The capital of Mongolia is Ulaanbaatar, which located in north central Mongolia. The country follows three time zones: Hovd Time Zone (UTC+07:00), Ulaanbaatar Time Zone (UTC+08:00) and Choibalsan Time Zone (UTC+08:00). Hovd Time Zone is only used by far western provinces of Uvs, Khovd and Bayan-Olgii.
