Chile is located on the west coast of South America and is bordered primarily by Argentina, as well as by Bolivia to the north east and Peru to the north. The capital, Santiago, is in the centre of the country. Chile's standard time zone is GMT -4 but it operates Daylight Savings Time between September and April, when it is GMT -3.
